Develop. Connect. Inspire
Bits and Bytes Technology Convention is an innovation conference that works with entrepreneurs in presenting their innovative solutions to investors, though leaders, and corporations through various challenge hackathons, business pitch competitions, conferences and exhibitions in Tanzania.
After two successful years working with partners in areas of urbanization (in partnership with East Africa Institute of the Aga Khan University and World Bank Tanzania), data visualization (in partnership with IBM and TWAWEZA), and innovation advocacy in partnership with the Finnish Embassy in Tanzania, we are back for our third year. This year the conference has selected Agriculture as the main theme.
In partnership with the Tanzania Breweries Limited (a proud partner of the ABInBev Family), we present to you the East Africa Agri Innovation Event 2018. The EA Agri Innovation Challenge aims to focus on making agriculture efficient specifically in the areas of seed and fertilizer wastage due to hand broadcasting of seed at planting and manual threshing post-harvest.
We are calling all innovators, entrepreneurs, software developers, engineers who have a prototype or minimum viable product on the market that looks at agriculture automation i.e. push planters and thresher and technology enablement via renewable energy source and digital asset tracking.
